After a series of observations and discussions, in December 2022, the Government made a decision to come up with a support program the IT sector in the amount of 10 billion drams. According to Sergey, the decision of the Government needs several substantive changes.

"First of all, businessmen performing under the other activities classifier in IT should also have the opportunity to receive support. Many people have chosen the classification of another activity in IT without giving importance to the classifier (incorrect indication of the classifier does not affect the tax payment in any way).

Turnover tax payers should also be supported and therefore these businessmen should be included in the framework of the Government's decision.

The above are widespread problems, and the rest have been submitted by us to the government in the form of written suggestions," says Sergey Muradyan.

He also notes that when distributing tax benefits, it is very important to target them, so that they leave a significant impact on the sector that needs support.

"I also see the need to establish institutional control over the government's decisions and Prime Minister's instructions, ensuring their quick and effective execution," said the head of the organization.
