We are incredibly happy to announce that the guest of our 6th episode of IT Armenia was Serop Serop, the Operations Officer at Webb Fontaine Armenia, the largest research and development center of Webb Fontaine group. The interlocutors discussed the positive changes that Webb Fontaine brought to the corporate culture in Armenia, difficulties of finding competent specialists, as well as the applicability of the Labor Code to the IT sector.
During the discussions, our guest outlined the existing loopholes in the education system and brought forward several reasons why educators opt for working for the private sector instead of state-owned institutions.
Serop expressed his assurance that Armenia has a great potential and enough specialists to become a technological center in the region, if not in the world, pinpointing the essential components for this achievement.
